Summer Holiday 2017 – Benayes, France

The majority of our summer holiday was spent in Benayes, France, visiting relatives.

With beautiful countryside, swimming pool and lots of open space for the children to run around this was perfect for spending some quality family time together.

Although we had not planned to journey far from Benayes we did visit a couple of the neighbouring villages/towns and even spent the day at a theme park

Meuzac is a beautiful little village set in bucolic surroundings, with a lake, park, a man-made beach and crazy golf course it was the perfect place to spend a lazy day with the little ones

Masseret is another beautiful village and every year holds its annual fete in the center of the village next to Masseret Tower. This year we were lucky enough to be able to visit attend the fete as previous times we have visited we have just missed it.

Although only small, there was plenty for my little ones to see and do.

Parc Bellevue

Placed just near the Limoges-Bellegarde airport, in Limoges, Parc Bellevue is a wonderful place for letting little ones burn off some energy.

Parc Bellevue is not a large theme park, but it has a small rollercoaster, large inflatables, collection of animals, a train, boats, Go Karts and other smaller rides. Priced at 14 Euros per person it is relatively cheap for a day out, especially considering my children enjoyed themselves so much.
